In the early morning hours of Sunday, December 27th, Station 20 and Micu 18 were alerted to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Brushy Ridge Rd with unknown injuries. Ambulance 20 and Engine 1-20 responded along with Chief 2-20. While en-route to the scene Station 20 units were advised of another accident in the same area. Chief 2-20 arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles, 1 in the woods and 1 in a ditch, with 2 injuries and possible entrapment. Ambulance1-20 was special called to the scene. Ambulance 20 and Engine 1-20 arrived on scene, split crews and rendered care to the patients. Ambulance 1-20 and Platoon Chief 91 responded to the scene to assist. Ambulance 20 and 1-20 both transported 1 with ALS. Units cleared the scene in about 45 minutes. |
